SnapJag PhotographyTaking the technology knowledge and skill one step further, I also love being a freelance photographer & creative designer. Taking photographs during special concerts and events, lifestyle photographs during natural unplanned occasions, and landscape and travel photographs while out visiting fun and fascinating places. I also like to work on projects to design new graphic arts and programming and designing websites or other publishing documents.

It’s especially nice to capture people during their events, be it sporting, entertainment, or any other event where getting a good picture of yourself is nearly impossible. Or your friend can’t quite get the camera to work indoors and the zoom isn’t sufficient.

Whichever event you are having (sporting, life celebrations, celebrity, or concert) I want to help you capture that special event as it unfolds and allows you to remember those moments through those photos for your archives and projects of media, marketing, album, web, and more.

The History

It all started in 1981 with a Pentax K-1000 camera and a gradeschool darkroom. Since then, capturing lifestyle photos has been rewarding for both me and others. It launched my desire when a news agency photographer, who was doing work on the side, took photos of me and my soccer team while playing a game against Cottonwood High School. My feelings for photography grew to universal bounds.

As I visit schools, sporting events, concerts, and entertainment productions, the results remind me of those few photos that made me appreciate photography and made giving back to the community a lifelong goal.

The Latest Story

Since March 2006, starting with the Wiggles tour I have been working with the The E Center to capture the ongoing concert events at the venue. For the first six months, I was the assistant house photographer filling in for concerts that were not the preferred choice by the head photographer. Then in October, I became the head house photographer.

Not long after, in March of 2007, I was chosen to become the house photographer for United Concerts at the USANA Amphitheatre. In January of 2009, United Concerts purchased The Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah and I have now filled some concert roles there.

Since attending all the venues I have to-date photographed dozens of concerts and other entertainers both on and off the stage, back-stage, meet-and-greets, special engagements, and many other specials occasions. We are not shy about the occasions and we are respectful of privacy and try and reduce our attentions and appearance.

I’m sure that as you visit the portfolios, you will enjoy the photographs. If you feel inclined to purchase a photograph, please help support the effort to give back and provide more people with inspiring photographs.
